Charlotte wants to thank everyone for all the presents. And for the giant boxes they all came in! Both girls have been enjoying them thoroughly. I've always known it to be true, loving boxes more than the present inside. Charlotte likes to climb inside of them, Amelia likes to climb on top of them (and usually ends up climbing onto something else). Either way its cute!
She sure likes to Jabber lately. Saying new things everyday. But my favorite was when we were playing with Brown Bear and Tan Bear. I was holding Tan Bear and made him say I love you Brown Bear, then I turned it toward Charlotte and said I love you Charlotte and she said I love you momma! So, of course, you know kids, she hasn't said it again. Oh well, many more to come I'm sure.
It was really nice out yesterday, it finally stopped raining so we could take Charlotte to the park. She met a few little girls and had a great time being social and running around. Even though they were a few years older and she had no idea what they were saying. SHE really enjoyed herself. Not sure about the other girls. One was getting frustrated because she would say something to her and wouldn't get a response. And embarrassing for me because when Charlotte doesn't respond they look to me and I'm just smiling like a doofus! : ) Needless to say, Charlotte went to bed a little after six, on the couch, watching a movie.
Charlotte had a little "time-out" the other day, and she reacted in various ways. Flopping about, smiling for the camera, and hiding in child's pose. I'm glad she is such an amazing kiddo and that won't happen much!
